Introduction to Bee Keeping Adults In this 2 hour workshop, you’ll learn the overall basics of bee keeping and the essential equipment needed to start your first bee hive! An actual bee keeper will give you a peek inside of a bee hive (no live bees) and show what real comb, propolis and frames look like. There will be a segment on how to buy bee packages or how to catch a swarm! ( swarms are the best!) Along with seeing an actual hive and essential equipment, you’ll be able to ask plenty of questions in this class. All you will need to bring is yourself and a desire to learn something new!
